PACE is proud to partner with the Office of Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez on a new grant program supporting small businesses in Los Angeles’ Council District 1.

The $400,000 initiative will provide direct financial assistance to locally owned businesses facing ongoing economic pressures. Across neighborhoods like Westlake, Pico-Union, and Highland Park, small businesses—many of them immigrant-owned—continue to play a critical role in local economies while navigating rising costs and uncertainty.

For more than 30 years, PACE has worked directly with local entrepreneurs, providing one-on-one counseling, technical support, and access to capital to help small businesses start, grow, and remain resilient.

As a long-standing business resource in Los Angeles, PACE will play a key role in administering the grant program alongside New Economics for Women, facilitating access to funding and guiding business owners throughout the application process.

Our goal is not only to deliver financial support, but also to strengthen the long-term stability of neighborhood businesses that serve as economic and cultural anchors across the district.

Small business owners in Council District 1 are encouraged to apply for grant funding. Read the full press release here.

Applications are open! Apply today. Need support? Contact PACE at CD1SBSGrant2026@pacela.org or call us at (213) 353-9400.
