Purpose: This is a pre-bid conference notification from Webcor Builders (“General Contractor”) to solicit proposals from qualified Subcontractors (“Subcontractor”) to perform trade work on the LAX Replacement Fire Station 51 project.

Project Summary: The purpose of this project is to build a replacement LAX Fire Station facility for the current Fire Station 51 and to decommission, perform and demolish the current LAFD Fire Station 51, after transitioning LAFD operations to the new facility. The new LAX Fire Station 51 will be a state-of-the-art, resilient, and highly efficient facility designed to serve the operational needs of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). Additionally, infrastructure improvements will be needed, as well as providing enabling utilities for the facility and Low Impact Development.

Prequalification: All interested firms are required to prequalify with Webcor through Building Connected. Prequalification must be completed by October 5th, prior to the publishing of the bid packages for bid. Only prequalified bidders will be invited to view advertised bids on September 28th.
