Find a Business Mentor
How do I get a business mentor? You have come to the right place. Many people are looking for different types of mentors, such as business or career.
PACE Business Development Center has business counselors at its headquarters at 1055 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 900B, five days a week. If you are just starting a business, have a business and need financing, you will be contacted by our business counselors to assess your business.
If you have an ongoing business at least one-year old, have a minimum of 5 employees and have revenues of over $100,000 per year and looking for business planning expertise, you will be contacted by a mentor.
PACE BDC mentors have expertise in many business faucets, such as human relations, operations, marketing/sales, technology, communications and financial management. These mentors are available to you at a mutually agreed upon schedule, either online or face-to-face. Mentor relationships are best with face to face communication when possible. Four key aspects of effective communication are present. (Facial expression, body language, voice tone, and word selection.) Each time we remove one of the four key aspects of communication from the interaction, the effectiveness can decrease.
The first thing to do in order to find a business mentor is to review the Mentee Presentation and complete an application.
